Fast Acting & Effective

How does it work?
The value of thiamine in the prevention and treatment of insect bites has been researched for over 50 years. Yet it is still not clear exactly what happens and how it works.

Some trials, and numerous anecdotal reports, indicate that when a high dose of thiamine (at least 100mg for adults) is ingested, mosquitoes and other biting insects will either not land on the skin, or if they do they will not feed. The conclusions are not firm, but our customers tell us it works!

In addition, thiamine is known to have an anti-inflammatory effect. This means that insect bites will not become as inflamed when the body has a high thiamine content.

Perhaps both of these effects occur in many people, but not in all.

MOZi FREE is fast acting. It only needs to be taken an hour or two before exposure, unlike tablets which are thought to need five to ten days. Its effects last about 24 hours. It is not necessary to take MOZI FREE every day, just use it when you need it.

MOZi FREE contains no DEET, no pyrethrin and no insecticides, and can be given to infants, toddlers, children and adults alike. It is one of the very few effective ways to give relief to children under six. Statutory texts list no adverse side effects of oral thiamine, and no toxic dose, which means that MOZi FREE is a safer way to obtain relief from mosquito, sandfly and midge bites.
